Dr Prabhu Shiva is a board-certified Internist with over 25 years of experience. He completed medical school at JJM medical college in 1990 and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St Francis Hospital in 1994. He worked initially in a rural emergency room in central Illinois where he got the experience in acute care and then went into private practice in Hinsdale. Dr. Shiva speaks Hindi and Kannada, and his staff is fluent in Spanish. Dr Shiva provides compassionate care and follows his patients at the hospital and nursing home. His interest includes wellness care and management of long-term conditions. He likes to focus on patient education and strongly believes in an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. He is married with 2 children. He loves to travel and scuba dive.

Dr Veena Prabhu is a board-certified Internist. She graduated from JJM Medical College in 1991 as a gold medalist. She completed residency at St. Francis hospital in Evanston in 1996. She served as Chief Resident there and won intern of the year award. Dr. Prabhu speaks Hindi and Kannada, and her staff is fluent in Spanish. She prides in focusing on preventative health and as an internist she has extensive training in chronic medical conditions like Diabetes, Heart Disease, Hypertension, COPD and Obesity. She is very interested in teaching and has students rotating with her. She has always believed in listening to her patients as medical history is a powerful diagnostic tool. She is a proud mom of 2 sons who are 26 and 22. She enjoys traveling, playing tennis and golf.

Jennifer Kern, APN completed the adult/gerontology primary care nurse practitioner program through Ball State University where she graduated at the top of her class. She is board certified from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. As a nurse, Jennifer worked on a neuro/cardiac unit and has over five years experience as an internal medicine nurse practitioner. She enjoys being able to care for teenagers through seniors. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, running, reading, and cooking. 

Brooke Page, APN completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus as a Family Nurse Practitioners through Simmons University. She is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Brooke has a diverse nursing background with experience in intensive care, diagnostic cardiology testing, and in the operating room with a focus on cardiothoracic surgery. Brooke has appreciated being able to expand the knowledge she gained as a nurse to help care for people in a more comprehensive manner. She enjoys working in internal medicine and being able to care for a diverse patient population while also being an advocate for patients who need specialty care. When not working, Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband and two-year-old daughter, working out at Orange Theory Fitness, listening to fictional podcasts, and watching a variety of sports.
